Donald Joseph Qualls - better called DJ Qualls - is a actor, model and producer from the US. In addition to being a part of his Road Trip role, he also appeared in The New Guy Hustle & Flow in addition to The Core. In addition to his work on Road Trip he's played in 22 different TV series such as Breaking Bad Supernatural Srubs Lost Law & Order etc. Qualls is fighting Hodgkin's lymphoma since the age of 14 old. In two years the cancer is now into the stage of remission. Treatment was carried out so quickly that it caused a serious influence on the body which slowed the growth of his body. As he was raised in poverty, he wanted to be financially secure. He said, "I've been living so in a state of financial sanity for so long and I'm desperate for to have financial security, otherwise my life will feel out-of-control to me." In the course of an interview the interviewer also talks about his childhood. His goal is to stop bullying. The cruelty he experiences breaks his heart. He says that his ideal role would be to portray father figures in the real world and on film. However, he acknowledges that directors don't choose me for those roles. He would like to become father one day to be able to devote more time to the child and less to his career.
